Paul Bunyan would talk to you if you asked him a question and Ashlyn said, "that's just creepy." I have to agree that he is a little creepy...especially now that I am looking at the pictures and wondering if that is supposed to be a black undershirt or if he is wearing a deep v-neck exposing his seriously hairy chest. Can I just say, "ew..."
On the road again!
We pulled into a rest stop where elk are regularly seen. Just that morning at breakfast Hal and Jenny spoke to a couple who had stopped at the same rest stop and saw around 50 elk grazing in the field.
We didn't find any elk but we found a lot of other beautiful treasures hidden along the trail...
I love birch trees...
Our next stop was Crescent City to check out the crab fishermen.
Our Oregon vacation was inspired by a similar trip that Chris' family took when he and Craig were little. They fished with their Donpa in these very waters. Jenny even gave Donpa a call as we stood on the pier and Chris reminisced with him about their adventures.
After grabbing a bite to eat we headed to Gold Beach. Stay tuned for the...
