random catch up...

Is it just me or did this year fly by? The last two years have felt like such a blur. How is it November already?!

Here is a little random catch up of events in our life, in no particular order...

gorgeous sunrises...
When my cousin, Nick, asked if I could watch his youngest son, Nolan. He had a blast playing Among Us with Ashlyn & Landon...
I'm not sure if he was more excited about that or with Pepper who happily sat by him the whole time he was at our house...
Dominic got Ashlyn some bonsai trees for her birthday & imagine her surprise when a few months later a mushroom started growing! She & Dominic, who both love mushrooms, were thrilled!
another day, another sunrise...
Pepper, living her best life...

Basketball pre-season games have begun. Landon has been playing really well this year but sadly during his second scrimmage of the year he took a charge & fell back sustaining a buckle fracture in his wrist. Thankfully, he won't be out the whole season & will just need to wear a brace for about six weeks.

My mom & Dominic came for a visit. The three musketeers! The three of us have been through so much together over the years. I love them so much...
Ashlyn had to work on Halloween but was thrilled to find out that she could dress up in her costume at work (sans hat & weapons). She came home & put the finishing touches on her costume & helped hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters. We had a LOT of kids this year which was a joy after Halloween was cancelled last year...
Speaking of Ashlyn, I am so proud of this girl. One of the headlights burned out on the truck & instead of taking it into the shop to be fixed she had me order replacement bulbs online & then she & I changed out the headlights all by ourselves!
We are looking forward to the holiday season & here's a little reminder from Pepper to take time to stop & smell the flowers (trust me, she never hesitates to stop)...
