As the art docent for Landon's class I had to come up with an art auction project for them to auction off. I searched around for a while and found a bunch of ideas on Pinterest. I finally settled on a project and met with the class so they could work on it.
The kids painted a mosaic sun serving tray. I think it turned out pretty good! Very cheerful! One day I was leaving to pick up the kids from school and caught Basil peeking out the window. Let's just say she wasn't too happy to be left behind.
This show still gets me after all these years. Seriously...best. show. ever.
I got to go to Ashlyn's class and help her perform her science experiment on her class. Her experiment is to determine which chocolate chip tastes the best. The kids LOVED getting to be a part of it!
One night we were out to dinner and when Landon's food came to the table he passed right over the chicken nuggets and spaghetti and went straight for the broccoli! That was a proud mommy moment!
I was bored one night and felt like coloring. Good thing I still had a leftover coloring sheet from Landon's class! Score!
My handsome breakfast date!
Homework reading/cuddle time...
Ashlyn has to write a biography this year and she chose to read Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton. It's a great book! Check it out!
I got home from picking up the kids from school one day and found this surprise from Chris waiting for me! It is a Lovebirds necklace from The Vintage Pearl. Love it! Thanks, Babe!
Jump splits on the trampoline
Family game night. Can I just say that whoever created the game of Life should be shot?!
Like mother, like daughter! This used to be my life when I was in elementary school...this and making dirt houses.
Dessert of champions!
My lunch date with Ashlyn!
This is what happens when you fall asleep while reading a book on the iPad...
Well, I think that's it for us! It was fun catching up! I always enjoy looking back over the phone pics and remember all the great moments from the past week. Happy Friday!

The mosaic painting is fantastic!!
Stopping by from InstaFriday.
You're really lucky your blinds stayed in one piece when you left. We went through 4 sets before we finally invested in a kennel!
I would love to come home to a necklace. My hubby's just not that kind of a guy. (But he is great at lots of other things!) and I love the name of your blog. Any story behind it? Stopping by from life rearranged.
Cool Mosaic - it turned out fab! Thanks for sharing all your pics - fun to see!
I love catch up posts like these that catch random family moments. Moments that will be forgotten tomorrow if not journaled today. That Mosaic tray is beautiful!
