it's friday!

Hey everyone!  It's finally Friday!  I am linking up with Life Rearranged for

I miss my friend.  I told my kids that I have known Amber since before we were in kindergarten when our moms took us to story time at the library.  They weren't all that impressed but I think a friendship that spans almost three decades (gosh I am OLD!) is pretty impressive.

Chris made the most delicious Asian chicken salad for dinner.  I paired it with some yummy pear cider...SO good!

Landon came home from school one day and went through his normal routine of snack, homework, four square, dinner.   When it came time for him to brush his teeth before bed he told me his tongue hurt too much and he couldn't brush his teeth.  Well, this was the first that I had heard about a hurt tongue so I told him he needed to get in the bathroom and brush his teeth.  Then he stuck out his tongue and showed me why it hurt..

He was right!  I guess he bit his tongue at school.  Man that is one gnarly tongue-biting!

I can't wait for my copy to arrive!!

It's like Where's Waldo!

I made the kids pose for a picture while we were coloring eggs.  I usually have to tell them a joke to get them to smile naturally.  This time I may or may not have told them that Memejo picks her nose.  For some reason they laughed really hard.  Heeheehee - love you Mom!!  (I am pretty sure they know that Memejo doesn't really pick her nose)
