Was this week long for anyone else? Every day I woke up thinking it should be the following day except for Monday when I woke up thinking it was Saturday and that I could sleep in a bit longer (wishful thinking).

Lately, Landon has been really excited about playing games. This particular night he wanted to play Candy Land. He plays by picking up two cards (accidentally) and then chooses which card he wants. Drives us crazy! He was so happy to be playing.
Last Sunday night we got to see Josh Wilson in concert at our church.
What an amazingly talented guy. He writes his own songs, plays like 15 different instruments and loves the Lord! 
Chris used a few of his songs in the video he made for Craig. One of the songs was "Amazing Grace". Check out Josh Wilson's version...it's amazing!
Last weekend Ashlyn spent the night at Memejo's house so they could spend a day shopping for birthday clothes. That meant that Landon had dad and mom all to himself. He went to the movies with Chris, they ate lunch at Philly Cheesesteak, played four square and then we let him choose a place to eat dinner. No surprise, he chose the "Indian restaurant" or Swagat as it is better known.
Last weekend Ashlyn spent the night at Memejo's house so they could spend a day shopping for birthday clothes. That meant that Landon had dad and mom all to himself. This kid seriously loves spicy food.
We had a bit of cooler weather this week and one day the sky was dotted with giant fluffy clouds.
This has been my "go-to" lunch that last few weeks. It is SO unbelievably delicious. I pretty much stick with a few staples: spinach, romaine, grilled chicken (thank you, Babe), avocado, and almonds and then I add any kind of fruit I can find. This particular day it was blueberries, orange slices and nectarines. Add a little vinaigrette and OH. MY. GOSH! Heaven!!!
While daddy and Ashlyn were out one night Landon asked to play another board game. We decided on the Family Memory game that Jenny made for the kids many Christmases ago. It is so fun to see the faces of the people we love while we are playing...
And lastly, a cute picture of Basil playing fetch with her bone.
Well, that was our week! We have a very busy week coming up with a dance recital, a family birthday celebration, Chris' birthday, Ashlyn's birthday, recorder concert, class parties and the last day of school so I may be a bit absent next week. Looking forward to summer!
