Nine years old?! I can't believe you are nine years old. It seems like just yesterday I that I was feeling your lively kicks and hiccups that made my growing belly jump. Weren't you just that little girl who would hide behind my legs when you were scared? Wasn't it just your first day of preschool? Or Kindergarten? Here we are nine years later and I have watched you grow into an amazing little girl.
You are very caring. You are especially compassionate towards people who are alone. There are many times when we can see the pain in your face when you hear about someone or something being hurt.
You are smart. You love to read and despite what you tell yourself, you are good at math.
You are creative and artistic. You love to draw and make pictures for people. You enjoy dancing and singing.
You are funny and will frequently break into different accents and characters to make us smile and laugh.
This year you have grown so much. Not only in stature but in spirit. I love watching you become a unique individual with your own style and your own likes and dislikes. You are very determined in all that you do. We are so proud of you and the girl that you have become. We pray for you every day that you will grow in wisdom in the Lord and glorify Him with your whole life.
