You could just barely make out the lake through the hazy smoke..
The trail started out with a sandy slope but progressively got more green as we ascended up the mountain...
There were incredible views at every turn...
The waterfall itself is picturesque & was a great place for us to stop & eat our lunch while we enjoyed the ambiance...
which brought out some bold wildlife friends eager to sample our treats...
Landon stood in the middle of the waterfall to get the perfect shot...

Just beauty all around...
Lord, thank you for these beautiful souls & that I get to do life with them every day.
