When the opportunity presented itself for Landon to attend Warriors camp only 5 minutes from home we knew we had to sign him up.

He was a little nervous heading into camp the first day. We prayed in the car before going into the gym & I assured him that he would have a great time & that he would make friends. t

As Landon warmed up, first alone & then joined by some other kids, I saw him start to play with another boy around his age. They took turns shooting baskets & encouraged each other as they made basket after basket. A few minutes later he came over & told me that I didn't have to stay anymore because he had made a friend.

After over six hours of basketball camp you would think he would want to come & rest a bit. Nope. Not Landon. He was all the more eager to get out & practice the skills he had learned. Sometimes I wish I could tap into just a little bit of his energy.

Landon had a great time at camp & learned a lot. While he was really hoping to meet Steph Curry instead he did get a chance to meet the Warriors draft pick, Jordan Bell, & get a signed picture of him.
