We spotted a few whales this time.
Papa and Emay took the kids down to the beach at low tide to check out the tide pools and to look for agate rocks.
Landon waving to me and skipping at the same time. He makes me laugh.
In step...
Oregon tide pooling is so rewarding. Although these tide pools weren't as good as the ones we saw two years ago they were still impressive. We saw sea anemones, starfish, sea urchins and mussels that were as big as my forearm!
Ashlyn loves the beach. I think tide pooling is one of her favorite things.
Landon does not like it when Ashlyn puts her hand on his head. Yeah, not one of his favorite things.
My gosh, I can't get over how big they are...
More favorites to add to my growing collection...
After the beach we drove inland and found the North Fork Yachats covered bridge. Apparently, Oregon has a lot of covered bridges. We got out and explored in, around and beneath the bridge.
A tiny crescent moon, sunset and the ocean. I couldn't ask for anything more beautiful.
