Chris made fajitas that night which are always a favorite…
Chris and Christy do a wonderful job with the food when we are camping. We enjoyed a variety of delicious foods like chili, cornbread, pancakes, breakfast burritos, and fajitas. We ate well! 
While dinner was being prepared the girls did a little coloring …
while the boys lit stuff on fire. 
Ahhhh boys. Gotta love 'em.
This kid. He did not want his picture taken. He did whatever he could to block my shots. Of course, that didn't stop me…
even when he tried to hide. I hid behind the trucks, trees and bushes to get shots of him. It became somewhat of a game and Jack had his eye out for me. I heard him tell Landon once when I was hiding, "I think I see your mom…" 
These two never failed to give me a cheesy grin...
When the sun had set and it began to get dark we crowded around the fire and demonstrated our marshmallow roasting skills.
Maybe skills is a bit of an exaggeration. Ashlyn was disappointed when she lost her marshmallow early on and we watched as the fluffy sugar quickly caught fire.
She was over it pretty quickly. Of course, two replacement marshmallows may have had something to do with that.

Kevin and I both upgraded to trucks this year so I thought I would document them in all their beautifulness. 
Through hail and pouring rain this guy always makes me laugh and feel loved. 
And that was our 2014 Tahoe camping trip! It was beyond awesome and I can't wait to go back to Tahoe. While some would rather have been in a hotel than a tent (you two know who you are) we all had a good time together and wished we had stayed an extra day. There's always next year!
