On weekdays it is almost impossible to get Ashlyn and Landon out of bed so they can get ready for school. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for weekends when they have a tendency to wake up by 6:30. Ashlyn was at a sleepover one night and I left this little note for Landon... worked like a charm and we got to sleep in until 8:00!

We got to attend a Giants game with some friends a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty cold in the city but we had a great time!
I'm so thankful that this boy will still hold my hand.
I attempted to take a Sunday afternoon nap on the couch...it sorta defeats the effectiveness when your dog attacks you...

Ashlyn just finished reading "Tuck Everlasting" for school. She wrote this about the main character, Winnie's decision: "I think she made the wrong decision because 1. She gave it to a toad and 2. She didn't wait for Jessie to come back for her. If I loved someone that much I'd marry him."

Last Friday Chris and I got to see Mumford & Sons in concert at The Greek with some great friends. It was seriously the BEST concert I have ever been to in my entire life!
