shaving cream...

The kids had a great first day of school.  They were happy to see their friends again, Ashlyn likes her new teacher and they were eagerly anticipating going back the next day.

I decided that after the first day back they needed a little help blowing off steam and what better way than a shaving cream war?!

I think I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves (fair warning, I took A LOT of pictures)...

They started off a little unsure but quickly realized that not only was this fun but they got to throw stuff...AT each other...and they weren't going to get in trouble!

Ashlyn seemed to figure the whole thing out a lot quicker than Landon (I think he still wasn't absolutely sure that he wouldn't get in trouble for attacking Ashlyn with shaving cream), but he was still having fun!




Don't worry, he returned the favor...

 

They had a blast...

They started holding on to each other to get a better angle and it looked like they were dancing as they covered each other with the shaving cream.

There may have been some talk of the best first day ever...











and when they were all done Chris thoroughly enjoyed hosing them down!






That was the perfect ending to our first day back to school!  Happy Tuesday!
