I have missed a few weeks of Instafriday posts recently so this will be a catch up week! You would think I would have a TON of pictures to share but the reason I didn't post was because I had NO pictures! Here's what I did take pictures of over the last few weeks (and I am "tootermagoo" on instagram if you want to follow me)...
Chris and I had a date night and went out to dinner and then walked around some local shops. I found this Caboodle at one of the stores and had total flashbacks! My mom and I had SO many of these when I was a kid...actually...she STILL has some! Do you remember these?
A friend of mine sent me a video of boxer puppies howling. Basil was going crazy trying to figure out where I was hiding the dogs.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite sunny little corners of the house. I just added the picture of our family...LOVE!
As you know, last week I had a difficult week. I am so thankful for God's Word. Not only did He guide me to the perfect scriptures but He spoke directly to my heart during the sermon last week. Amazingly, I have spoken to a few other people and they felt like that message was speaking directly to them too! Isn't it awesome how God can use His Word to speak to so many people even when they are all going through completely different situations!!
Chris was out of town last weekend so I let the kids choose where we had lunch on Sunday. This was the picture we sent to Chris telling him that we missed him...too bad I can't hold Landon's attention long enough to get him to actually look at the camera!
I was cleaning out a drawer recently and came across some old pictures that Ashlyn made when she was five. Thankfully, I have no shortage of pictures like these...she loves to draw and make presents for people.
Landon and I went through the boxes of hand-me-downs that he got from his cousin, Ryan. It was like Christmas-come-early! Plus, Ryan is a huge Giants fan so now Landon has a "new" Giants shirt to wear every single day!
Speaking of shirts...I got the coolest mom award because of my new shirt! Landon told all his friends, "my mom is wearing a Star Wars shirt!!!"
This was my view from the sidelines of Landon's soccer game on Thursday night. Gorgeous!
When I finally got my car back after replacing the stolen catalytic converters it needed a good wash. This was Ashlyn "helping" me wash the car.
Reading time at the nudist colony...
During Landon's soccer game Ashlyn made this house for her toy monkey. I was so impressed by how creative and whimsical the house is - Memejo will be so proud!
That was our last few weeks! Happy Friday and if you live in California get ready for triple digits again this weekend...happy "fall"!
