instafriday...

Sorry for the lack of posts this week.  It has been a busy week that included school registration, trips to the park, and some one's birthday! ;)  Great week.

Here are our last two weeks in cell phone pics!

A few weeks ago we went to Hal and Jenny's house and Jenny took us to the Nimbus fish hatchery. photo2-7 photo-10
The kids loved feeding the fish.  The fish were very calmly swimming around...photo2-12
but as soon as they dropped food into the water the fish went nuts!

Ashlyn got a new pair of flip flops and they are a women's size 6!  They are a little big on her and I guess youth sizes are two sizes smaller than women's sizes which is about right.  I just can't believe that her feet are almost as big as mine!

The kids went swimming at Hal and Jenny's house and Landon discovered that he can actually swim now!  Yippee!!
A wonderful friend of mine got this beautiful "J" for me.  I decided to display it in a repurposed frame with paper from Jones Design Co..  photo4-16
The frame is a little small so I am making a few adjustments but I love it so much!

I spied this little guy on the stairs outside last week.  The kids thought it was so cool!

I took Landon shopping for school shoes and he chose the kids Nike Free shoes that are $78!!!  Hahaha, yeah nice try!  He seems to have his dad's expensive taste in shoes.  photo1-12

"What do you mean I'm too big to be a lap dog??"

The kids had a lightsaber war last week.  Basil bolted as soon as the battle began.

Savoring the lazy mornings before school starts...photo3-9

Last week we visited a friend's house.  The kids were super excited to jump on their friend's trampoline.  Landon had recently lost his tooth and had another really wiggly one.  He said, "wouldn't it be really funny if I was jumping on the trampoline and my tooth came out?!"

Well, you can guess what happened!  His was jumping, bumped into the net siding, got his tooth hooked on the net and out it came!  He laughed at how funny it all was and we never even found the tooth!

The kids played Monopoly for the first time this week.  They LOVED it!  photo4-14

We stopped by Joann's last week to buy some art supplies and guess what is coming...photo3-11
my favorite seasons!  Yay!

Speaking of art projects, I have something to share with you next week.  Here is a preview...photo1-11

I am going to miss mornings like this when school starts...Photobucket
but I also think it is time for routines and schedules again.  The kids are excited and nervous and mommy is looking forward to a little freedom!

Happy Friday!
