Wow, last month really got away from me. I was just looking through the pictures that I haven't posted yet and realized that I completely forgot to post all of my 4th of July pictures! Annoying, I know. Seriously, the OCD side of me is going crazy because my 4th of July post is now in August! Deep breaths... it will be ok.
Let's start at the beginning. We spend every 4th of July with one of my best friends, Theresa, and her family. Chris and Jason cook while Theresa and I catch up and eat their amazing food. That actually makes us sound really lazy but we watch the kids too! Ok, we have got it pretty good. We know we are spoiled and we love it.
The boys got to work on the food right away. Well, after talking about their knives of course.
Ashlyn and Landon love playing with Kiersten and Brenden. They were asking how many days were left until they got to see them for about a week leading up to the 4th of July. I think the feeling might be mutual...
Kiersten watched Ashlyn and Landon swimming in the pool and patiently waited for them to get out and play with her again.

Thankfully, Ashlyn had recently cleaned out her room and decided that Kiersten needed to have her Minnie Mouse collection. So Kiersten had some fun new toys to keep her busy while my kids were swimming.

The boys continued to enjoy their cookfest...

When an airplane flew overhead Linda asked, "Where's Papa Mark?" and Brenden pointed to the sky! So cute!

Kiersten got to join the kids in the pool after her nap...

We all enjoyed the delicious food that Chris and Jason prepared. Of course, I didn't get any pictures because I was too busy eating it! Trust me when I say it was mouth-watering goodness!!
When it was dark we watched the fireworks.

It was a wonderful day with amazing friends. Happy 4th of July....or 9th of August. Whatever.

Funny, I was there but I don't remember you taking all these photos. I think I'm losing my mind!
