happy halloween

It's that time of year again!  Ashlyn knew right away what she wanted to be for Halloween.  Landon went through three different costumes and didn't decide that he wanted to be a pirate until two days before Halloween.  Thankfully, we happened to have a pirate costume on hand (thank you, Wendy!).

I love Ashlyn's poodle skirt.  Ok, technically she chose a kitty skirt.  I still love it.  I found an Etsy shop called Poodle Skirt 4 U and she custom made a skirt just for Ashlyn.

Landon had an eye patch that went with his costume but he lost it at a Halloween party over the weekend.  He also insisted on wearing his regular tennis shoes because "he is used to them".  We showed him pictures to demonstrate that pirates don't normally wear cross trainers but he stood firm on his decision.  He does seem to have nailed the pirate attitude.
