In between all the beach & lake activities there are cool Tahoe summer nights spent around the campfire which, I'll be honest, are some of my very favorite times.
This year we even had the addition of Ashlyn quietly strumming on her guitar...
There's marshmallow roasting...
Landon was determined to roast the perfect golden brown marshmallow this year. My goal is a little different. I like to burn my marshmallows, first allowing them to catch on fire & then peeling off & eating the burnt layer. I can then roast the marshmallow again, repeating the process until my marshmallow is gone. It may be because I don't have the patience to brown a marshmallow to perfection but I also secretly like the taste of burnt sugar.
S'mores...you either love them or hate them...
Laughter...

And finally, what is quite possibly my favorite video of all time or what I like to call, "hatred of s'mores & also what happens when your mom has video proof that you blame stuff on your sister when she is completely innocent."
