For Ashlyn, her love is art. Drawing, painting, photography & music. From a very young age she would draw the characters of her favorite movies or cartoons.
Her artwork has only advanced as she has gotten older.
This year she is taking an Art Design class where she is learning how to use Photoshop & is earning college credits. I love getting texts from her after her art class about how much she enjoys it.
She reminds me so much of me when I was her age. I used to close myself up in my room, turn on my stereo & draw pictures of people, often celebrities. Now Ashlyn does the exact same thing.

Ashlyn is currently on a ministry trip with the high school group from our church.
I am so proud of her willingness to spend her Spring Break serving others & sharing the gospel. She could be spending the break lounging around or watching countless hours of Netflix but instead she is honoring the Lord with her time. Proud mommy moment.
