On Wednesday Ashlyn graduated from 8th grade. I swear it was just yesterday that we were in the hospital getting ready to take her home for the first time & now she is one summer away from starting high school.
Surreal.
Everyone always tells you to cherish every moment with your kids because the time flies by super fast. It may sound cliche but it is 100% accurate.
This is the face you make when your mom sees you as you are walking toward the stage & you are praying that she doesn't do anything to embarrass you.
I don't think we embarrassed her too much...unless you count screaming at the top of our lungs when they called her name.
Ashlyn, we are so incredibly proud of you. Throughout your time in school you have always tried your hardest & put forth the best effort. Your hard work totally paid off! You should be proud! I know you will do an amazing job in high school & I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you in the future.
