meet Pepper the precious pug!
We got her when she was almost 10 weeks old (she is now 13 weeks) & only weighed 3 1/2 pounds. So unbelievably tiny! I'm seriously afraid I am going to step on her because she is so little.
Ashlyn & Landon have never had a puppy before. Chris & I got Jade as a puppy but she was already two years old when Ashlyn was born & when we rescued Basil she was fully grown. They are LOVING having a dog around again.
Being a newborn she slept a lot. She has grown out of that stage a bit and is awake for longer spurts now but since day number two she has slept through the night! Hallelujah!
She will also stop what she's doing to watch tv!
Sometimes I put her in my sweatshirt pocket so I can get things done...
She has such a great personality. She does a lot of funny things like burrowing into the carpet or the couch, running like a spaz all over the place, trying to scale the back of the couch like a mountain goat
& falling asleep in random places...
I searched for her for 20 minutes, calling her name the whole time, before I found her asleep on my shoes in the back of the closet.
Thankfully, she doesn't seem to have any issues with her crate like Basil did & actually goes inside voluntarily!
It was difficult to give our hearts to another dog while we were still missing Basil but we are really enjoying having a dog around again. We love Pepper so much, she is playful, mischievous & a lot of fun!
