Ashlyn was excited to start her 8th grade year. Landon was not as thrilled to start 6th grade. Thankfully, Ashlyn helped him out. Once they got their class schedules she sat him down and said "here, this is what mom did for me..." She got out the map of the school and circled all of his classes, showing him quickest way to each one.
I had completely forgotten that I had done that with her when she was starting 6th grade. She has done a lot to assist him this year so far. She helped him organize his binder, understand his homework and talk to his teachers. I am so blessed to have kids who are willing to help others. Proud mommy moment.
And then they were off to their first day of school...
