camping 2015, part three...

We were all looking forward to spending some time at the lake during the day.  The sky was clear and blue except for a faraway layer of clouds and the temperature was perfect: not too hot, not too cold.  

After last year we were all eager to paddle board again.  Ashlyn was first up...

Landon wasn't really interested in attempting it on his own and opted for hitching rides with Ashlyn and me instead.




My goal was to not fall of this year but after my little board-mate shook the board I found myself in the frigid waters.  Landon, however, managed to stay on the board.


A little water fight...




I love this man.  He's my favorite.

Chris even packed a delicious picnic lunch for us to enjoy on the beach.  
It was a gorgeous day savoring the warm sun, blue Lake Tahoe waters, and family time. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
