We survived.
Chris is back from his business trip to Boston. He was gone for seven days and was in classes all day long. We weren't able to talk for more than 20 minutes a day throughout the course of the week. Then he returned at 12:08am after the long week away and I left the house at 4:40am that same morning for a trip of my own. Like ships in the night. I am so thankful for God's provision of strength while he was gone, that he is home again and that life is back to normal.
While Chris was gone some of the grandparents came over to play and cook dinner. The sun was shining, the weather was warm, which meant one thing…a trip to the park.
We found some relief from the hot sun under the shade of a large tree while Ashlyn climbed among its branches.
Landon just wanted to play. He has so much energy. Sometimes I wish I could tap into just a little bit of that energy. He brought his soccer ball and showed Upa his skills.
This girl… so much beauty and personality.
I know this is blurry. I just had to include it for the smile.
Ashlyn stayed in the tree the entire time we were at the park. She's my little monkey. It's her thing.
More to come. Until then I'm going to go get to know my husband again. :)
