survival and some sunshine, part 2...

It was so warm in the afternoon that Ashlyn and Landon asked if they could have a water gun fight.  I had to limit them to just the guns rather than the hose.  We are in a drought, after all.  It didn't slow them down; they were soaked within minutes.  Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

While we were playing at the park and having water gun fights Hal was inside slaving over the hot stove.  He made a rich and delicious beef stroganoff, per Landon's request.  He even made it gluten and dairy free for me.  It was devoured by all…I'd say we liked it.  


After dinner we headed outside and enjoyed the last glimpses of the sun's rays while the kids played stickball with a friend.




I just love the golden light provided by the twilight hours.  It provided a beautiful ending to a wonderful day.
