Aside from the aforementioned allergies you will find no complaints from me about the warmer, sunnier days. Have I mentioned that I don't do winter?
Jenny recently purchased some tulip bulbs from a charity which supports brain tumor research. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and I now have twelve tulips sprouting. As I look at the new bits of life sprouting up I think of Craig and the new life he is experiencing. It brings a smile to my face every time.
The warmer weather also gives Landon a chance to get out some of his pent-up energy.
You gotta love how he is wearing a baseball shirt, basketball shorts and his indoor soccer shoes. He said, "It's all orange, mom…it matches."
You can find Landon outside just about every day. He will stay out there long after it is dark not realizing how late it really is; his eyes having slowly adjusted to the dark.
This is the childhood I always imagined for my kids. Carefree days outside. Playing baseball in the street with the neighborhood kids, riding their bikes, skating, playing soccer. Hearing their laughter as they enjoy the freedom of just being a kid is one of the greatest sounds I've ever heard.
