soccer, soccer and more soccer...

Soccer has kept Chris and Landon very busy this season.  Many of our weeknights and Saturdays are filled with practices and games.  Every other Tuesday Ashlyn has piano lessons so we divide and conquer, driving to opposite sides of town and eating dinner in shifts.

It's the craziness that is our life right now.   photo IMG_0603_zpsa01aef68.jpg photo IMG_0597_zpsa2f2a1b4.jpgLandon always goes "all in" when it comes to sports though.  He currently eats, sleeps and breathes soccer.  He talks about it all the time and asks me to go out and play soccer with him whenever he has free time.  In the spring I'm sure it will switch back to baseball.   photo IMG_0415_zpsca21c5a1.jpg photo IMG_0418_zpsc6961e5d.jpgHe continues to do well as keeper.  I think it is one of his favorite positions.  Last week during warm ups he hyper extended his thumb.  I could tell he was in pain and he nursed it throughout the game.  He couldn't grip anything for almost three days.  He was still complaining of pain a few days later and developed a deep bruise.  Thankfully, it seems to have recovered and he was able to play uninhibited this week.

Did you see what I did?!"  That moment makes it all worth it.   photo IMG_0599_zpsc0b1187a.jpg
