Our tradition still holds strong which means we spent our day with the Hulls. As per usual, the boys got down to business right away...
as did the kids! There was a wide variety of things for them to do which relieved this occasionally-summer-beaten mom of the all too familiar, "I'm bored…" statement. They had baseball, hours of swimming and jumpy house fun to keep them entertained.
I love the determination on Landon and Brenden's faces…

Kiersten has mastered her aerial leap into the pool and showed us over and over again that she has no fear!

Ashlyn says, "hi"!
Any time I get the camera out these days this is Landon's go-to face. I'm thinking school pictures in the fall should be interesting.

Ashlyn got to love on the littles all day long.
Landon has been practicing his flips and proudly told me that he is up to 5 in a row without taking a breath.

The ladies sure have it good and we totally know it! Every year the boys cook amazing food for us while we hang out with the kids, talk, swim, and catch up on trash mags.
Don't feel too sorry for Chris and Jason though. It is truly a labor of love. I have never seen two guys who enjoy creating delicious menus and food so much. More on the food to come.
Part two of our fourth of July coming soon!
