Our sweet friends offered to watch our kids on a particularly tough day for us and then invited us over for dinner. We were blessed so much by the time we got to spend with them and our kids had a blast...
although, the grown ups did have some fun too...
Sometimes you see the most random things and it makes you laugh so hard you almost wet your pants. Chris and I were driving down the road one day and saw this...
now the picture doesn't really do it justice but this car was so small and there were at least three people crammed inside along with a ton of stuff! The words "clown car" came to mind.
I took a long walk with Basil one day and spent the whole walk deep in prayer. At the end of my walk God blessed me with a glimpse of His glory...
A few more pictures of our trip to the zoo...
It must have been close to feeding time for the giraffes. Personally, I think that if the employees want to maintain the element of surprise when feeding the giraffes they seriously need to consider a taller fence.
A great thought...
Last week after Landon got out of the shower I noticed this...
Seriously, talk about the epitome of laziness. He won't even take the towel off of the towel rod to dry himself because then he might have to spend some energy hanging it back up.
Chris and I visited the new Neiman Marcus in Walnut Creek. While the store is entirely out of my price range I did enjoy the light airy feel of the store and the beautiful butterflies cascading from the ceiling.
I often never know if Ashlyn and Landon are understanding all the things I am sharing with them from the Bible about death and heaven. This week I got a brief look at how much God has revealed to Ashlyn. She drew two pictures of Craig. First, of "Craig Then" or his last days on earth...
and secondly, "Craig Now"...
My heart was full knowing that Ashlyn is recognizing where Craig truly is now.
Basil is the nosiest neighbor...
I recently used the Silhouette SD to make some Monogrammed greeting cards. Love them!
With the recent heat wave it is hard to believe that I took this picture less than two weeks ago!
I love when I am able to capture my kids in a sweet moment...
My favorite color...
I love shadows. Last week I took this picture and resisted the urge to ask Chris every guy's favorite question, "does this shadow make me look fat?" heeheehee
Finally, what I like to call "toes for Craig". The girls in our family along with many others have painted their finger nails/toe nails with yellow smiley faces. Yellow was Craig's favorite color and he loved the bright yellow smiley faces.
Well, that is it for me this week! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all of you amazing moms!
