instafriday-catch-up...

I am catching up on a little instafriday phone pics with Life Rearranged since I have been a tad absent lately.  Off we go...

Chris and I were invited to attend a Sacramento Kings game by one of Chris' co worker's clients.  We got to have dinner and watch the game from a luxury suite...Photobucket
It was a lot of fun!  Plus, the Kings won!  We don't really follow them much anymore but we were big fans when we lived in Sacramento.

I decided to try out a side french braid on Ashlyn and she actually let me do her hair!  Miracles do occur!

Now that I look at it, it seems very "Katniss Everdeen".  I may have to try it inside-out next time!  Oh and speaking of Katniss I am dying to see The Hunger Games!!!  Seriously, can't wait.

One day when I was making an after-school snack for Ashlyn and Landon I showed them the surprise inside every apple...

They thought it was so cool!  One point for Mom!

Landon was watching a Jack Hanna animal special when this shot came on the screen...

and Landon stopped what he was doing and said, "Whoa... That guy is REALLY tan!"  Seriously, when did orange become the new tan?

Basil loves to ride in the car (anything to not be left at home in the crate).

Sometimes I wonder what she is thinking.

Last week it was super cold and rainy.  Perfect soup weather!  Chris whipped up some delicious lasagna soup.   Yummmmmm....

Ashlyn has been checking out Choose Your Own Adventure books every week from the library and LOVING them!  Photobucket
I remember reading these books when I was a kid and how exciting it was to read the same story and get a different outcome every time.  Ashlyn came running up to me and said, "I just read this book 40 times and something different happened every time!"  She even starting logging the choices she made so she wouldn't repeat the same adventure.  She is SO my child.

Here is another picture of Basil.  Poor pathetic puppy.  This is her "Don't you feel sorry for me?" face....

Please continue your prayers for Craig.  Chemo is very hard on the body.  He is sick, worn out and tired. Thank you for continuing to remember him in your prayers.
