Today Landon is five years old. I can't believe that my baby is five. Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital with him and now he is off to Kindergarten! He seems like such a big boy now.
Landon is a very passionate little boy. He is sweet and kind and is so generous with his hugs. He tells me all the time that I look pretty and that I am beautiful. What a sweet heart! Landon can also get very upset and angry extremely quickly. See what I mean about being passionate?! We are working daily on being slow to anger.
We often joke that Landon is like Pigpen from the Peanuts cartoons. He can take a shower and be completely clean and I can literally turn my back for two seconds and somehow he ends up with dirt on himself! Seriously, the house can be totally clean and he will still be dirty in no time! Being the boy that he is he could care less about the dirt (or the smell for that matter) and just moves on to the next fun activity!
Some of the things that Landon loves are playing outside, running races (he must take after his Daddy), riding his scooter, playing with Legos, and playing anything and everything Star Wars! He loves to go to Disneyland and play at the park. Recently, he has started singing (quite loudly) any song that comes into his mind. He has also gotten the artist bug and started cranking out pictures that are currently covering the entire refrigerator from top to bottom.
We are so thankful for our little man, our Pigpen, our "Bud".
We had a birthday celebration for Landon with just his grandparents since we had already celebrated in Disneyland.

Landon's only requests were a Star Wars candle and chocolate cake....
A chocolate cake that despite my best attempts did not set correctly. Oh well, it tasted good! We can't all be perfect all the time, right?
