A three day weekend is a great opportunity for family time and relaxing after a hectic week filled with school and work. We did some of the kid's favorite things. Baking, dinner with friends, playing outside and visiting with grandparents.
We baked Snickerdoodles to share with Papa and Emay....
We took some time to see some friends and their little one for dinner. A little one who's contagious laugh had an entire restaurant full of people smiling. A little one who's adorable smile and cherub cheeks make me remember when my babies were little themselves. I got the best baby hug from the little one and I admit I didn't want to let go! Great dinner with amazing friends. Jason and Theresa, thank you for sharing your beautiful peanut with us!
The kids played outside
And we visited with Papa, Emay, Uncle Craig and Elease. Now that summer is winding down we had to soak up every last moment of swimming that we could.
My girl has come such a long way from the scared little girl who was afraid of the water and wouldn't let go of the wall at the beginning of the summer. She couldn't wait to show everyone how well she can swim now. Proud Mommy moment.

And Mama watched and snapped pictures from the cool of the umbrella shade. And no comments on my weird toes!
Enjoy your week!

Looks like they had a blast swimming! I bet they were exhausted and slept without any trouble.
Your toes are not weird....well with the exception of the baby toe or lack of I should say. Hahahaha!
