Christmas...

Christmas has come & gone & it was wonderful. We had our Christmas Eve dinner, game night & sleepover with Memejo & Dommy. You can't beat a late night filled with Mexican food & laughter.

We opened presents & my kind family ate the cinnamon rocks rolls that I made even though they were AWFUL! Gluten free baking is not for the faint of heart. One of these days I will master a GF cinnamon roll but this year is not that year.
All too soon it was time to say goodbye & Memejo & Dommy headed out to my aunt Tina's house.
Emay & Papa arrived & I got to work setting the table.  Jenny started a tradition with the kids that each year we will try a new napkin folding technique using an old book that she has filled with different napkin origami. This year was the pope hat...
This is what it looks like when I'm trying to get a picture of our family...

Finally got the shot...

We enjoyed a relaxing day...

Christmas love...
I hope you all had a blessed Christmas season. After all the presents have been opened, the guests have all gone home & the realization that it's all over has set in, one thing still remains: the joy that has so graciously & generously been given by Jesus Himself. It is with us all year long, through highs & lows, when we are weak, when we are strong in His strength, in our grief & in our happiness. I am so thankful for His gift of salvation. His truly the greatest gift we could ever receive. I am praying for those who are struggling this time of year, that God would be close & that you would be reminded of the joy that only He can provide. Emmanuel, God with us. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
