things they love, part 4...

Continuing the series that I started earlier this year, "things they love" here is the installment focusing on the things that Olivia loves most.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of things that Olivia loves is, without a doubt, her little boy, Charlie.

I am fairly certain that the feeling is mutual.  Charlie follows her around everywhere she goes.  He curls up in her bed with her, he looks for her when she leaves & greets her excitedly when she returns. They even play hide & seek together.

Secondly, Olivia loves skating.
I've had the privilege of seeing her skate & she always seems so free.  Her mom once told me how totally fearless Olivia was when she skated & she was absolutely right.  This year Olivia injured & had surgery on not one but both ankles so she wasn't able to skate for a long time.  During that down time when she talked about wanting to skate I could hear in her voice how much she longed to get back out there.

She has such determination, never giving up until she has succeeded in learning a new trick.

Thirdly, she loves Math.  No really.  I'm not even kidding, she really does.
She recently bought a math book & on Thanksgiving day she went through the book & wrote out some of her favorite formulas. She legitimately gets excited about math & does math problems for fun. She aces every math class that she takes.  She has been a great resource for the kids & frequently helps them with their math homework.  Olivia is a really good teacher, tutoring students who need help in her spare time & has even tried to teach me. The crazy things is that I actually understood what she taught me.  That just goes to show you what a good teacher she is ...she can even help me!
Last, but not least, she loves Lake Tahoe.
For as long as I have known her she has talked about her love for Tahoe.  Her family vacationed there when she was growing up & she has a lot of great memories that took place near the cool blue waters.

She loves camping in Tahoe with us & has long desired to move there one day.

This concludes my series on the things my family loves.  No need to create a post for myself.  This blog is a dedication to the thing I love most: my family.  I've heard it said that if you search some one's camera roll you will see what they love most.  That's definitely true in my case.  My photos are filled with the faces of my family & I am humbled every day when I think that the Lord saw fit to bless me with them.
