Fifteen years.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. The craziness leading up to our wedding, becoming your wife, how quickly the day flew by and how we talked so much on the drive to Carmel that we missed our exit entirely.
Back then we were just a couple of kids (literally) and had no idea what the future would hold for us. We didn't know the struggles we would face and the joys that we would get to experience together; we just knew we had each other and that was enough.
Some questioned whether or not we were making a good decision by getting married so young. Some didn't think it would last.
But we knew.
We knew that God had brought us together and He would see us through the storms we would encounter if only we kept our eyes on Him.
God has blessed us with so much on this journey. He's given us two amazing kids, helped us grow closer together in the midst of trials, seen us through the pain of loss, given us more joys than we can count, and reminded us all the while that He made us one. He made us; and there is no one I would rather be with on this adventure.
I am so thankful for these past fifteen years with you. You always strive to make me happy and while many things have changed over the years I know I will always have a constant and comfort in you.
Happy Anniversary, Chris.
I love you more.
