So many times I forget how much the Father truly loves us. He isn't just looking down on us waiting for us to screw up so He can punish us. He loves us. We don't have to be perfect, and He doesn't expect us to be. When He sees Jesus in us He sees the perfection that we could never attain on our own. That gives me great hope because I know I could never ever measure up on my own.
We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf…

We got to spend our Easter Sunday with our good friends, the Jensens, again this year. We had a delicious lunch...

Landon vividly remembered the egg hunt last year and how Ashlyn snaked the egg he found right off the top of the fence because he wasn't tall enough to reach it. Things were a little different this year. He was tall enough to reach the eggs on the fence and made sure to grab them before Ashlyn had a chance.
