put me in coach, I'm ready to play...

Landon had his first practice scrimmage last weekend.  It may not have been a "real game" but to Landon this was the real deal.  He was dressed hours before we had to leave the house.  That may not sound particularly odd but anyone who really knows Landon would immediately realize that he must be really eager to not only put on clothes voluntarily but to put on clothes…period.

In addition to his baseball gear (minus his jersey because he hadn't gotten it yet) Chris got Landon some new sunglasses for the game and they have since been on his face round-the-clock.  Seriously, breakfast with sunglasses on.  iPad with sunglasses on.  Sunglasses at night.

Landon started off the game in left field.  He also got to pitch and play third base.

Landon's team is the Tigers and he was thrilled to be put on the same team as one of his best friends.
Landon got to pitch in the final inning.  I have practiced with him a few times.  He's fairly accurate and he throws HARD!

Landon said he loved pitching, hitting and playing third base.  He did such a great job.  I will admit that I am obnoxiously proud of him.
