instafriday...

Man, if I thought our life was crazy busy before… I had NO idea what busy really was!  We literally have something going on every single day of the week.  Swim clinic, baseball, dance, Bible Study, The Story…it's insane!  But it's a good insanity.  I don't think we have the kids overbooked in too many activities.  We were very careful not to stretch them too thin.  There just happens to be a few activities that overlap around this time of year.  When this season of life is over I know we will look back and remember how much fun they had.

For now, here is a look back at the last two weeks...

I found this recipe for gluten free cookies a few weeks ago and decided to try it out.  Oh.  My.  Goodness.  They are SO delicious!  Chris calls them "crack cookies" because they are so addicting.  Thanks to Flourless Betty for the recipe!

We had this sweet girl over for dinner and had so much fun hanging out with her!  As you can see...

I choose to see love in the everyday.  I choose to see joy...
A little throwback to grad night 1997!  Man, we were so young!

Oscar viewing night with the family!  Love my girl...
Have I mentioned that I love Toms?!  I was so excited to get my new pair and when I put them on Landon said, "oooooo, I like those shoes!"
Swim team season is here!  Ashlyn is LOVING the swim clinic and gave it two thumbs up!
I was motivated to get started on the janky bathroom this week.  Just when I thought it couldn't get any uglier the wallpaper removal revealed this little gem.  Ashlyn took one look at it and said, "that is just hideous."

The Story 2014 has begun!  We are praying for another amazing year and thanking God for the opportunity to spread the gospel through art.  We started working on a few new art pieces last week.  After gluing myself to the floor I'm officially calling these my "story chucks".  Believe it or not, they are now in even worse shape than this picture suggests...
This girl is starting middle school next year.  Time is flying by so quickly.  The kids hung out in our bed the other night and talked about what it would be like at the new school.  I so want to remember these moments.  Soaking them all in...
Happy Friday!
