tuesday...

How do you like my very creative title?  Oh yeah, I'm feeling the inspiration. 

Our life has been filled with routine lately.  That's not necessarily a bad thing.  I have come to realize that I thrive on routines.  As much as I hate getting up early every day to start the daily school grind I like the familiarity of it all.  There is something comforting in knowing what is happening next.

In complete contrast, this week is all about the excitement of broken routines and the anticipation of what's to come.  Heading off the beaten path.  We have a busy week ahead filled with a Broadway musical, a day of thanks and a trip to the happiest place on earth.  It's gonna be good!  

Until then we use our free moments to enjoy spending time with each other...

Ashlyn started her own stuffed animal veterinary hospital...

to repair all of her ripped stuffed animal "patients".  I think she fixed at least four in one day!

We have another first coming this week.  Our first Thanksgiving without Craig.  I know it will be different and a little hard but I can't be completely sad.  Any time I think of Craig I imagine what he is experiencing right now, at this very moment.  How can you not smile and rejoice knowing that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior?!  Pretty awesome stuff.

Since this is what my house currently looks like post-laundry, mid-packing...

and because I have to finish packing, clean my house and bake a pie I am going to be off!
