After starting the sketch I became incredibly busy and wasn't able to work on it at all. There were a few opportunities here and there where I was able to add a little more to the picture but never enough time to finish.
It sat in this stalled state for over a week...
Yesterday, I couldn't take it any more. I had to finish. Sometimes I just can't deny the urge to create. So, this is my completed picture of Landon...
Surprisingly, I am really happy with the drawing. That's unusual for me...I am, after all, my own worst critic.
It felt unbelievably good to draw again. I have picked up a few creative outlets over the years but I think sketching with pencil will always be my first love.
