instafriday - mega Disney edition...

Fair warning, this is going to be the the most ridiculously long instafriday EVER!!  Consider yourself warned!

We set out on our Disney vacation early in the morning...

We rested for a few minutes once we arrived at the hotel... 

and then our first stop was Medieval Times.  

We took the kids to the Pirate Adventure show the last time we visited Anaheim but they were equally excited to see knights in shining armor.

Our knight tossed a flower to Ashlyn.  She was ecstatic...

Landon was mesmerized by the show.  He watched the sword fighting with great concentration and a look of concern on his face.

I think the fact that he had permission to eat without silverware was a close second to the action in the arena...
After the show we headed into Downtown Disney...

The LEGO store was the hit of the evening.  I couldn't help but think of how much Uncle Craig would have loved all the LEGO sculptures.

The next day we hit the ground running and didn't slow down all day.  We rode 33 rides in one day!!  I will let our pictures from the trip speak for themselves...



Both of the kids decided that California Screamin' is their favorite ride...

It was Landon's first time on an "upside-down roller coaster" and he was definitely a fan...

When we were on the Peter Pan ride the second time around it broke down and they turned all the lights on...

while we were waiting to be unloaded I decided to give Landon the full Peter Pan experience so I sang the songs from the movie.  I don't think he was impressed.

This year Ashlyn decided that she wanted to start collecting Disney pins.  She picked out a few and this one in particular had special meaning.  She said she got it because it reminds her of Dommy.


And a vacation wouldn't be complete without Landon's complete randomness.  I love that he is dancing away without a care in the world...

That pretty much sums up a pretty great trip.  I had the best time with my family and getting to spend every minute with them.
