end of summer

The end of summer is coming quickly.  There are days when I am sad that it is all over and I won't have all of the free time to spend with my kids.  Of course then there are weeks like this one when I think, "yeah, some free time without constantly hearing 'I'm bored', without all the fighting, and without endless whining would be pretty good."

For now we are in the midst of preparing to go back to school.  Pencils, crayons, markers and glue have all been purchased in anticipation.


The end of summer brought the end of dance classes for the kids.Ashlyn wants to continue dance and may even want to try out a new style.  Jazz/hip hop anyone??
Landon decided that dance isn't really his thing.  He will continue with soccer and maybe try baseball in the spring.  I am glad that he was willing to branch out and try something new.

We have a fun weekend coming up and a couple of birthdays in the very near future.  Do you have any exciting end-of-summer plans?
