We also got a little crafty this week. Ashlyn is a collector of sorts. Ever since she was little she would find little treasures and when asked about them she would say, "I need this for my collection." She may or may not have already had a similar item to contribute to the particular "collection" but she was going to keep it nonetheless. We like to say that she is more of a pack-rat than a collector.
So in order to organize some of the collections of cards, drawings, and other assorted papers that were accumulating in her room we decided to make a memory board. It was super easy and if you click here you can get instructions for your own memory board. Ashlyn LOVES to do any kind of craft and she was super excited for this one because it was going to hang in her room (the fact that it was her signature color and had sparkly jewels didn't hurt either).

This past weekend while daddy was off with the boys at a Cal game in Reno the kids and I made another trip to Papa and Emay's house. We had a great time eating good food, taking walks around the lake, swimming, biking and filling the house with laughter.
On Saturday morning the kids went outside in their pajamas and blew bubbles. The dog found this to be quite entertaining and chased the bubbles as the kids blew them. The kids cracked up watching her jump up and try to bite the bubbles.
When the kids finally got dressed they jumped on their bikes. They raced each other around the empty lot.
