Fun on the job!

As most of you know, I usually talk about Ashlyn and Landon on my blog - oh, and any ailments my family may be going through. Hahaha! This blog is going to be a little different - it's all about CHRIS!

Today Chris had the opportunity to see a rare side of the Golden Gate Bridge. He got to go to the very top of one of the towers and under the bridge near the water! The bridge is one of his customers and when they offered to show him the ins and outs of the bridge he could not turn it down. (He is not deathly afraid of bridges like other people, who shall remain nameless)

Chris started his adventure by walking on the bridge just like anyone else - except he was wearing a hard hat. The other people on the bridge were a bit concerned when Chris and the other two men he was with opened a door on the tower and disappeared one by one! They rode a very small elevator up the tower. The elevator moved extremely slowly and it took about 4.5 minutes to get to the top. The got off the elevator and got to walk across the top of the bridge! Thankfully, he brought his camera with him and took some amazing pictures.

While they were on the top of the bridge a military plane was doing a practice run right over the bridge. The plane flew by so low (and they were so high) that they were able to look DOWN on the plane!!

What an amazing experience! Chris was all smiles when he got home and got to share his pictures with us. The kids looked at him in awe - jaws dropped!

Enjoy the pictures!

Very cool! Can't say that I would go up there-merely out of support for all the other people afraid of bridges and heights of course! Kelly
