Day in San Francisco

Over Labor Day weekend we got to spend a day with our good friends Brian, Shirene, Vanessa and Courtney! We met at the Dublin BART station and rode into the city together. The kids started out being really shy but in no time at all they were talking about all the things they were going to see in SF.

When we got to the city we walked down The Embarcadero until we reached Pier 39. We were all starving so we went to Bubba Gumps for lunch. The kids had fun coloring and eating out of their "Jenny" boat boxes.
When we were done eating we went to the Aquarium on the Bay. We had never been there before and were excited to see the shark feeding. They have a moving walkway so that you can travel through the underwater tunnel and watch divers feed the sharks. They had so much fun! There was also a touch pool where they could pet stingrays and sharks.

The kids were super excited to ride the carousel on the pier. They got to ride by themselves because the carousel is $3.00 per ride and if the parents ride with the kids they have to buy an additional ticket! We thought that was pretty ridiculous. So the kids got to ride the carousel like big kids - after they were strapped in by the dads, of course.

After getting some ice cream in waffle cones and checking out the sea lions we headed back down The Embarcadero to the BART station.

What a great day! We are so glad we got to hang out with our friends!

Looks like you all had fun! I could definitely tell that Ashlyn didn't feel good. Her eyes had that sick look to them.
