I'm BACK, baby!

Today marks one month since I have been Topomax-free. I am going to go as far as to say... I AM BACK!!!!! Wooohooo! I feel amazing! I have had no signs of seizures or auras! Isn't that great?! On the medication I second guessed myself in every situation, I was irritable all the time, I had no desire to do anything and I was unable to remember who I really was or how I would normally react. Now I don't find myself as irritable as I had been, I can think clearly which helps with the second-guessing, and I have way more energy. Another sign that I am doing better is I am excited when I am going out with friends. Chris and I had an all day outing on Saturday with friends and I had a great time. I didn't even crash two hours into the day!!

My next appointment with my neurologist is on July 21st. Hopefully, he will let me drive again! It will have been less than 90 days since I went off the medication but I am optimistic.
