Chris was on a business trip in Connecticut and even got to visit New York one evening. It was his first trip to NY. He had a blast in Times Square! His customers had a super time too so that made his company happy!
While Chris was out of town Ashlyn, Landon and I went to San Jose to spend some time with some friends and family. We went to lunch and to see the new Hannah Montana movie with Theresa. The kids had a great time spending time with Theresa (although I have to admit that I think Theresa and I had a better time at the movie than the kids)!
The next day we got to go to the beach with Dommy! Dominic and I have decided that the two of us, plus the kids and the beach equals cold weather. We have yet to go to the beach together and have warm weather. That didn't stop us from having a great time though! The kids even stripped down to their bathing suits despite the freezing cold weather! I, on the other hand, stayed in my three shirts and a sweatshirt and stayed semi-warm. We had a picnic lunch and the kids played until we all decided it was way too cold!
We stayed with Memejo while we were in San Jose and the kids got to see her when she got home from work. It wasn't very much time but they still enjoyed it. After the kids went to bed Memejo and I had movie nights! I brought Twilight (since Memejo has read the first two books in the saga) and she actually enjoyed it! I knew she would! As is our tradition, she had me watch a movie that had me doing the ugly cry by the end (ok so I was crying by the middle). It was called Charlie and Me and was actually a pretty good movie despite the crying! Btw, thanks a lot Nettie for introducing my mom to the movie that produced the tearfest! Hahaha!
The kids had a lot of fun on spring break. In addition to all the forementioned fun they went to the park and Memejo took so adorable pictures of them at a place called Nestldown.
