With Monday being Labor Day we decided to have a Family Fun Night on Sunday night!!! When we told the kids what we were going to do they were ecstatic!
First we started with playing outside in the backyard. We ran around and the kids danced to music. Then Daddy cooked up some hot dogs, baked beans, and lots of yummy fruit. Now, we had promised the kids that the big event would be later on and Landon could not wait. He kept asking, "Can we start now?!" So after dinner we got to the "big event". We told the kids they could watch a movie and eat popcorn and candy before we camped out in sleeping bags in the living room. We popped the popcorn, turned out the lights and started the movie portion of the night. We watched Over the Hedge. The kids love movie night!! After Landon ate his popcorn he said, "Can I have a snack now, the sugar kind?" The kids had gotten candy from Dominic and they each got to pick a candy to eat. Ashlyn picked her candy necklace and Landon chose pixie sticks.

After the movie we got our sleeping bags set up and everyone got ready for bed. We had a lot of fun but I now feel sorry for all the parents who had me over for sleepovers when I was a kid. Ashlyn got the giggles for about 30 minutes. It got a little out of hand but we finally got the kids calmed down. Mommy was on the floor between the kids and they ended up laying on top of me most of the night. It was very cozy! :) They did end up sleeping and Daddy and Mommy got some sleep too (Mommy got sleep once she put her earplugs in!).
Overall, we had a fantastic family fun night!

Looks like you all had a ton of fun! I certainly remember the sleepovers and boy am I glad I am done with that!
