Landon has been obsessed with Nerf guns for the last few weeks. He started watching YouTube videos on how to modify Nerf guns. He now comes to me multiple times a day telling me about how if he "puts this part here, and this other part here..." I'm okay with the non-stop commentary on Nerf guns. The Nerf darts E V E R Y W H E R E...not so much.
Ashlyn is usually reading books, reading fan fiction or playing Minecraft on her phone. She also likes to camp out in the bed of my truck while she is reading. She doesn't like it when I "find her"...
The boys were finally able to get Ashlyn to come join their fight.
While I was taking this sneaky picture of the kids, Basil was inside freaking out because she could see me through the window but couldn't get to me.
And then Landon hid and tried to shoot me...
This moment reminded me of a very specific episode of The Office. Chris and I had a good laugh about it when I was reviewing the pictures.
If summer could slow down just a bit, that would be great.
