instafriday...

This was such a great week.  We got to see good friends and family, Landon started baseball, Ashlyn had the science fair…every day I am more and more thankful for the blessings all around me.  Sometimes I just need to refocus my heart.  Just look around at everything and be grateful.  I pray that I never fail to see everything that God has blessed me with in my life.

With that I give you Instagram pics for the week!

I got my new shirt from walk in love!  They make the best shirts.  Seriously.  They are super soft and I love the messages.  Trying to live this one out every day...

In addition to my new shirt I got my new keychain from farm girl paints!  I have mentioned Becky's shop before because she is the one who made my"no matter what" cuff.  After a lot of deliberation (I am, as always, indecisive) I decided on "smile" for my keychain.  Chris may have had a little influence on that one.  Not just because he suggested it but because he makes me smile all the time!  Becky only opens her shop up for a few days a month but I love her products.

Kiersten, one of my favorite little girls, had a fourth birthday party recently.  Not just any party, a "Frozen" birthday party.  I was asked to make a pin the nose on Olaf game for the kiddos.  Theresa sent me a picture a few days later of Olaf in his new home inside Kiersten and Brenden's bedroom.
Ashlyn and Landon with the birthday girl…

We met up with some of our cousins this week to see the LEGO movie.  Had a blast with them and the movie was hilarious!

Baseball season has begun.  Landon had his first practice and the verdict is in…he LOVES it!
The science fair was this week.  Ashlyn was really hoping to win an award this year.  After not winning a ribbon she was really bummed.  When we got home Landon ran straight to his room and emerged with a first place ribbon that he created himself.  He put it on Ashlyn's science board and told her how much he loved her project.  I love how he cares about her feelings.  That was definitely a proud mommy moment.

On one of the more beautiful days this week I went walking with a friend at the reservoir…or as her four year old daughter would say, "at Tangled's tower".  I like her description better...
Finally, a throwback to 2003 when I had short hair, Ashlyn was 5 months old, and she attended her first Cal v. Stanford Big Game...
