loving it...

I love Christmas!  It is my favorite holiday.  I love the time we get to spend with family.  I love sharing the story of Jesus' birth with my kids.  I love the food.  I love the sights and smells associated with Christmas.  I love the lights. 

I love the decorations. We have accumulated quite a few decorations over the years.  Chris isn't thrilled with the tower of 15 Rubbermaid bins and boxes that house all our decorations throughout the year.... but I really love the decorations.

Some we have had for years...

and we usually add a few each year.  Some are homemade,  

and some are not.  

We love them all. 

I try to keep my decorating under control.  I try not to get too "out there" or too gaudy.  Things don't have to match but too much of a good thing is, well, not a good thing.

I usually freak out about stuff on the outside of their doors.  Decorate the inside as much as you want, but not the outside.  Well, it's Christmas...go nuts!

Of course we have our Christmas cards displayed...I love Christmas cards!

The kids went to Memejo's house last weekend and spent a day on their annual tradition... gingerbread houses!

In addition, Memejo made a new advent calendar for the kids this year.  Every day they each get one puzzle piece to add to the puzzle.  They are loving it!
